Mission areas

Our church takes an active and specific interest in several mission areas. We focus on six throughout the year, and concentrate on them for one month twice per year.

Bodrog

In the heart of Hungary, in the small village of Bodrog, lives a Christian community giving hope to disadvantaged children. Families foster children from state care and give them love, care, a family, and demonstrate the love of God.

Caring for Life

Caring for life is a Christian charity based in Leeds which works with severely disadvantaged people to support them through housing, education, training and pastoral support. It is their stated aim to demonstrate the love of Jesus through practical action and through this to spread the message of the gospel. Baptist Missions Peru

Trevor and Christine Morrow, Rebecca and Andrew

Trevor and Christine work with Baptist Missions in South Peru. Their main aim is to provide support and teaching for the local believers there as they seek to share the gospel with those around them. There is real need for ongoing teaching and training of Christians to provide leadership in the local churches so that the church in this area continues to strengthen and grow and eventually becomes self supporting.

The persecuted church

OpenDoors logo

In many countries in the world, Christian believers are either disadvantaged or actively persecuted because of their faith. At our church, we take time to remind ourselves of the situation in which many of these believers find themselves in and to pray for them.

For more information on the persecuted church throughout the world, please click on the logo below. Open Doors attempts to provide accurate information on what is going on in all countries where active persecution takes place.
