Our 100 year old church building has been replaced by a new building more suitable for its purpose. The demolition of the old building commenced on the 13th October 2009 and the new building was officially opened on the 4th October 2009.

The picture on the left shows what the church should look like when it is finished, provided that all goes according to plan. Click on the picture to see a bigger version.

At present the build programme is basically on schedule and it looks like the first meetings in the new building will be held in September 2009.

A programme of events is being planned around the opening of the new building which will give people the opportunity to visit the building itself, but more importantly to hear why we believe it is important to invest time and money in putting up such a building as this.

We believe that a building is simply a tool to be used to help people hear and accept the message of the Bible and then help them to grow in their faith.

The roof comes off (21st and 22nd October 2008)

25th November 2008- the foundations are dug and the concrete is being poured.

27th November. The foundations are left to set

10th December 2008 - the steelwork starts to go up.

11th December 2008 - the builder's aren't hanging about!

17th December 2008 - the blockwork has started

14th January 2009, floors are in, walls have commenced.

24th January 2009, the walls are further up
